Our beautiful, historic tugboat is for sale with liveaboard status (transferable). At 64' LOA, it has an enormous amount of living space with beautiful views of the DC skyline. Perfectly located at the gangplank marina near the metro and many traffic patterns, it is easy to commute anywhere in the area.

The boat boasts of its large kitchen, wood floors, tall ceilings, and entertaining capabilities (we have had over 30 people on the boat easily with no issues). Storage for personal belongings, boat items, and an impressive bank of cell phone tower batteries is a huge plus too! One stateroom and one head (with nice size shower) makes it perfect for a couple or a single person.

The boat was built during WW2 (1943) and is steel. Many artifacts remain on the boat that give it charm and character. But no concerns, this boat has all the modern necessities to make it really comfortable, including 280 gallons of fresh water holding and a standard, household sized hot water heater. The total conversion from tugboat to liveaboard was only 9 years ago. The detroit diesel engine is 1996 in good condition. Hydraulic steering system. Windless and new anchor.

Engine room needs tiding up. Engine probably deserves to be serviced. Exterior paint below water line was recent, but above water line is needed soon. New, high quality dock lines.

Galley includes large, double sink, beautiful electric cook surface (full size), apartment sized dishwasher, apartment sized refrigerator, lots of cabinets space and a large pantry. There is a combination washer and dryer in the living room.

This boat has a ton of storage and great personality so we already have several people interested in buying. It was out of water less than a year ago for survey and repairs. Let us know if you would like to visit and make an offer. Serious buyers only please.

Out of water for full survey, hull ultrasound and repairs in October 2012.

Price recently reduced for winter. Feel free to contact us: three five two - 455- 4567
